The American Marketing Association is an international professional society of individuals with an interest in the practice, study, and teaching of marketing. The roots of the AMA can be traced to the early 1900’s, when the National Association of Teachers of Advertisers and American Marketing Society merged. The AMA welcomed the 75th and 76th professional chapters in 2010.
Through events, sponsorships and an in-depth community of members, the Chapter of the AMA helps students and professionals alike expand networks, get the latest in marketing communication strategies, and find new opportunities that fit their wants and needs.
Governed by an elected board of directors, our volunteers and sponsors will help this forming chapter build national recognition as one of the most comprehensive chapters in the country.
And as part of AMA International, we are soon to be a part of the most comprehensive professional community of marketers in the world. Founded in 1937, the AMA network has grown to 500 chapters throughout North America.
